Mr. Sanjay G. Hinduja, Non-Executive Director, currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited.

With vast experience and expertise in the global oil and energy sector, he has consistently provided strategic direction and thought leadership. His strong focus on governance at the Board level has been a key enabler of the Company’s growth and long-term success.

Mr. Sanjay has previously worked with Credit Suisse Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Richmond College, London. He also serves as a director and committee member across various Companies.

Mr. Shom A. Hinduja currently serves as the Non-Executive Director on the Board of Directors of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited.

Mr. Shom is the President – Alternative Energy and Sustainability Initiatives at the Hinduja Group. He has led the Group’s foray into the alternative energy sector and currently serves as the Chairman of its Renewable Energy business. In this role, he drives and supports the execution of sustainability initiatives globally across various Companies within the Group. Mr. Shom is actively involved in the philanthropic initiatives of the Hinduja Foundation, contributing to projects focused on clean water, solar lighting, healthcare, and education.

Under his leadership, the Group is expanding into next-generation transformative sectors such as electric mobility, battery technology and cybersecurity. He also plays an important role in the Group’s strategy development initiatives, risk framework development and investments in start-ups.

Prior to joining the Group’s offices in Mumbai, he worked with KPMG in New York as part of the M&A team within the financial due diligence practice.

Mr. Shom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Development and Master’s degree in Sustainability Management & Renewable Energy from Columbia University, New York. He also serves as a director and committee member across various Companies.

Mr. Arvind Uppal currently serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited.

Mr. Uppal has over three decades of experience in business development, international marketing and general management. He previously served as President – Asia Pacific at Whirlpool Corporation until December 2017 and is widely credited with leading the successful turnaround of its India operations. He is the Non-Executive Chairman of Whirlpool of India Limited. He acts as an industry advisor to Advent International.

Prior to joining Whirlpool, he worked with Nestlé for more than 18 years across India, Switzerland, China and Southeast Asia. He is recognized as a strategic leader with a proven track record of transforming businesses across both the consumer durables and non-durables sectors in multiple international markets. He is also regarded as a mentor to several start-ups and a leader known for driving impactful change.

Mr. Arvind Uppal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology from IIT, Delhi and a Postgraduate degree in Management from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi. He has also completed a Program for Executive Development from I.M.D. Lausanne, Switzerland in 2003. He also serves as a director and committee member across various Companies.

Mrs. Manju Agarwal currently serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited.

She has over 35 years of banking experience in State Bank of India (SBI) in leadership positions in India and overseas. Her core expertise and key achievements include Retail Banking, Financial Inclusion, Customer Service and Operations. She led SBI’s partnership with Reliance Industries Limited to set up Jio Payment Bank Limited. She conceptualized and launched YONO, SBI’s Digital Bank, Financial Superstore & Online marketplace (one of its kind in the Industry).

She headed SBI’s debit card strategy, Merchant Acquiring business, Government business and Transaction Banking Business. She drove process optimization relating to product, service delivery and improved customer experience. She also led SBI’s Jan Dhan program and was associated with setting up of SBI’s Pension Fund Subsidiary in 2007.

Mrs. Manju Agarwal is a Postgraduate from the University of Allahabad, in the year 1978 and an Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers, 1989. She also serves as a director and committee member across various Companies.

Mr. Munesh Narinder Khanna currently serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited.

He is a seasoned Corporate Advisory Professional having a rich experience of over 30 years in corporate finance, taxation, restructuring and strategic decision making. He has a proven experience in enhancing business value through initiatives such as raising resources from Capital Markets and Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions, Divestitures and Corporate Restructuring.

He has previously worked in accounting and advisory firm of Arthur Andersen in the audit division and was elevated as partner in the tax practice before rising to become the Country Head-India of its Corporate Finance Division.

In 2018, he has set up Backbay Advisors Private Limited, a corporate and strategy advisory and investment banking entity.

Mr. Munesh Khanna is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjab. He also serves as a director and committee member across various Companies.

Mr. Nirvik Singh currently serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited.

Mr. Nirvik brings over 35 years of leadership experience in the marketing and advertising industry. He is widely recognized for developing iconic global brands, transforming marketing models for a digital-first world and helping organizations become more customer-centric to drive growth.

Until 2024, he served as Global Chief Operating Officer and President – International Markets at Grey Group, part of the WPP network. In this role, he oversaw operations across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, spanning 35 offices and over 3,500 employees. At the age of 33, he was appointed as the CEO of Grey Group India, leading its transformation. He later served as COO of Grey South Asia, Chairman and CEO of Asia Pacific and in 2019 he was appointed Global COO and President – International Markets.

During his career, he has worked across five continents and led several strategic acquisitions for Grey Group in China, India, South Korea, Thailand, UAE, UK and South Africa, including companies in e-commerce, data, shopper marketing and martech. Prior to joining Grey Group, he worked with Lipton India, a Unilever Company.

Campaign Magazine in 2020 named him as the Best Advertising CEO, Asia Pacific. The Internationalist – NYC - nominated him onto their 2014 Agency Innovators’ list, and the Advertising Club Calcutta inducted him to their “Hall of Fame” in honour of his contribution to the Communications Industry in India.

He has been awarded India’s Bharat Nirman Rattan Award for outstanding individual achievements and distinguished services by the National Integration and Economic Council. In 2018, was awarded India’s ‘Hind Rattan Award’ for influence / service to India by an NRI.

After schooling at St. Lawrence, Sanawar, he completed his initial degree from Calcutta University in 1985. He has attended Leadership and Executive programmes at both Harvard University and at Singularity University in Silicon Valley. Mr. Ravi Shamlal Chawla serves as the Managing Director & CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited.

He has been successfully leading Gulf Oil India’s lubricant business for over 18 years and has played a key role in Gulf Oil’s position today as one of the country’s topmost and fastest growing lubricant brand. Under his dynamic leadership, Gulf Oil has been achieving growth rates which are 2-3 times higher than the industry average. The Company has significantly expanded its brand presence, volumes, and market share, ranking among the top 3 private players in the Automotive and Industrial Lubricants sectors.

He has over 25 years of experience in the Lubricants space having earlier worked in the Top Management of Pennzoil India (which also was part of Shell for 3 years from 2003 onwards) for 8 years from 1998 to 2006, prior to his continuing stint of more than 18 years with Gulf Oil.

Overall, he has over 35 years of professional experience and has previously worked with various Indian and Multi-national organisations across multiple sectors like FMCG, Tyres, Luggage, Photographic consumables, Tractors, etc. He has rich experience and knowledge in leading / delivering the P&L for organisations. His key strengths are people & strategy development and strong execution initiatives to deliver business plans consistently.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from Sydenham College, Mumbai University and a Master’s degree in management studies (specialised in Marketing) from Mumbai University. He also serves as a director and committee member across various Companies.

Mr. Manish Kumar Gangwal, serves as the Whole-Time Director & CFO of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited.

Mr. Gangwal brings in over 30 years of rich professional experience spanning various areas including Finance, Corporate planning, Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Fund raising, Investor relations, Corporate Governance, Accounting & Audits, Company Secretarial practice, Taxation, etc.

Before assuming his previous role as Chief Financial Officer in the Company, he was associated with reputed organizations such as Gulf Oil Corporation Limited, Poddar Pigments Limited and Hindustan Development Corporation Limited. During his tenure with Gulf Oil, he has also served as a Board Member and Finance Cluster Lead for several South East Asia Gulf entities. Over the last 17 years of his financial leadership, the Company has grown multi-fold in terms of Revenues and Profits. In addition to his financial stewardship, he is also playing a key role in the e-Mobility foray of the Company, contributing to its strategic diversification and future readiness.

He is a Chartered Accountant (rank holder), Company Secretary and Graduate Member of the ICMAI by qualification. He also serves as a director and committee member across various Companies.
