More than 45,000 mechanics from across the country put their skills, commitment, and love for the craft on display as part of the Gulf Pride Maha Mechanic Offer.
Many were recognised along the way. Twenty went all the way.
On 17 January 2026, those 20 mechanics came together for an experience that felt less like a reward and more like a meeting of minds.
Because when M.S. Dhoni walks into a room full of bike mechanics, cricket naturally takes a back seat. A bike fanatic himself, Dhoni spent the day talking shop, motorcycles, parts, precision, discipline, and the pride that comes from doing the job right.
No scripts. No speeches. Just real conversations between people who respect the grind.
In a moment that reflected the spirit of the day, Dhoni personally presented customised mementos to the mechanics and inaugurated the workshop of one winner acknowledging the role mechanics play not just in our business, but in keeping India moving every day.
