Compounded medium speed quenching oil specially developed for heat treatment of ferrous metals in a wide variety of quenching operations. It is formulated from highly refined paraffinic oils to provide superior thermal, oxidation and ageing stability facilitating long service life with minimal deposit formation. The compounding agent used in this oil provides improved cooling power and enhanced metal wetting characteristics to induce desired hardness and minimise stresses and metal distortion. Its low volatility characteristics reduce oil loss from vaporisation.
