SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) is a crucial component of EATS (Engine After Treatment System), aimed at reducing NOx (Nitrogen Oxides) emissions in Diesel engines. A reducing agent called AUS 32, also known as AdBlue® in Europe and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) in North America, is used in SCR Catalyst. This colourless, non-toxic liquid, comprising 67.5% demineralized water and 32.5% technical grade urea, efficiently converts nitrogen oxides into nitrogen and water. ISO 22241 is the global standard for manufacturing, testing, storage, and handling of AUS 32. AdBlue® is the registered trade mark of VDA, Germany
