High temperature, inorganic non-soap grease for structural stability
Gulf Crown HT grease is non-melting, inorganic, non-soap thickener based grease for use in a wide range of marine and industrial applications subjected to high temperature. It is manufactured from high-quality, solvent-refined base oils and performance additives to provide excellent structural and high-temperature stability, resistance to water washout and effective protection from wear and corrosion. It is specially designed for applications where very high, short-duration temperature spikes are part of the normal operation.

GULF CROWN HT 2 is suitable for plain and anti-friction bearings (ball, roller, sleeve) and sliding surfaces (ways, cams) in high temperature applications (kiln car wheel bearings, dryer conveyor chain bearing, rolling mills, oven bearings) found in paper mills, chemical and steel plants. It is also used in heavy duty equipment used in marine, off-highway, off-shore, cement, mining/ quarrying, agriculture & forestry/ logging and other industrial applications under severe conditions.

The extremely high drop point of this grease ensures an extended operating range of up to 160°C. It has excellent mechanical stability and resistance to softening ensuring long lubricant life and prevents leak out of bearings even in the presence of water. It possesses very good corrosion protection and resistance to water washout resulting in improved component protection and equipment life. The inert nature of clay makes it suitable for applications exposed to contaminants like water and chemicals found in industries like paper mills, and chemical and steel plants.
